Dermaplaning

The minute we think we know our skin, it changes on us. With age, weather and other environmental factors, our skin changes frequently. The most common types of skin changes include the accumulation of dead skin cells and the growth of fine hairs.

As skin ages it produces less of its own collagen and hyaluronic acid and skin cell regeneration slows. Eventually, pores become clogged with dead skin cells, dirt and oil, giving facial skin an uneven, sometimes rough and discolored appearance. Dermaplaning at our Harrisburg office is one of the most effective ways to make dull, rough skin look vibrant and youthful again.

Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It removes built-up dead skin cells, fine vellus hairs also known as “peach fuzz,” and debris without the need for lasers, injections or chemicals.   I have been coming to this office for many years and they always take such great care of me here! Dr. Jatto is great at listening to my needs and is very attentive.   I love Dr Jatto. She takes the time needed to explain things to me in a way I can understand. She encourages me to ask questions of her as well which I appreciate because I advocate for my health.  She is my primary care provider and I am part of her weight loss program as well. I’ve lost a total of 70 pounds and counting.  I’ve don’t the red light therapy for hair loss.
